Iyad M. Ayoub

Iyad M. Ayoub, MT(ASCP), MSBioE, PhD

Dr. Ayoub received his PhD in Physiology and Biophysics and MS in Healthcare Administration from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, MS in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois, and BS in Medical Technology from Marquette University. Dr. Ayoub is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiology and Department of Medicine at the University of Jordan, and a Research Associate and Research Instructor at the Resuscitation Institute at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.

He has over 20 years of research experience in the area of cardiac arrest and resuscitation, and authored numerous publications primarily related to mechanisms of ischemia and reperfusion injury. After moving to Jordan in 2010, he led the establishment of two contract research organizations (CROs) serving the Middle East and North Africa region, headed the scientific division of a biologic’s pharmaceutical organization, and was the CEO and Laboratory Director of the first family cord blood bank in Jordan that included the first approved state-of-the-art stem cell processing and cryopreservation facility.

He is also the Managing Director of ABSOLUTE Medical Research Solutions which provides biomedical research education and training, clinical (phase I-IV) and pre-clinical research support and management, medical writing, and cord blood banking and pharmaceutical/biotechnology consultancy.
